MODY PUMPS CSR POLICY

OVERVIEW – MAKING DIFFERENCE:

To ensure CSR remains an ongoing activity, MODY PUMPS strongly believes that corporates who benefit from the society must give back to the society, that an organization with the power to affect human lives must use the power wisely.Taking these practices forward, our Managing Director Mr. Nagaraja R. Bhat institutionalized the concept of community work is a way of telling the people among whom we operate that We Care.

OUR STRATEGY:

 

As a responsible corporate entity of India, MODY PUMPS has already completed CSR activities Desilting and Deepening of village tank at- Chon, Tal – Ambernath under the guidance of Tahsildar, Ambernath against Mahatma Gandhi Rashtriya Grameen Rojgar Hami Yojana – Government of Maharshtra and Project at CHIRANTHANA CHARITABLE TRUST (R ) Suratkal), home for Geriatric Health Care,consists CCTV system covering entire old age home, Store and living room for staff,Aatra oven for hot water,EPBX system and 250Ltr. Boiler.

Our vision is to actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities by the way of life for weaker section of society, home for the aged, disabled, dying destitute, Orphaned Children, unwedded mothers and raise country’s human development index. As a part of above vision, we identified the following activities to be undertaken as CSR activities under its CRS policy either on its own or indirectly through charitable trust or the association contributing to the society.

IDENTIFICATION MECHANISM OF PROJECT:

Accordingly, we selected ST.PAUL’S JEEVAN DARSHAN SANSTHA,At Post Uttan, P.O. Box No.1, Uttan-401 106, DhavgiDongri, Bhayander (West), Dist. Thane, Maharashtra, Indiahome for the Dying destitute,Orphaned children and unwedded mothers looking after for nearly 20 years at Uttan

PROJECT OPERATIONS:

As a request from managing trustee of ST.PAUL’S JEEVAN DARSHAN SANSTHA, the projects which are very much useful by constructing Stone compound wall to protect the heavy influx of poisonous reptiles into their habitat area as home is located nearby heavy forest. For the smooth running of their habitat area and to avoid causing bites and death to their mates following requirements are needed& implemented.

Construction of compound wall as per following specification:

Construction with White Stone, river sand and reputed brand cement or ACC Cement.

8mm steel to be used for coping, Compound height 5ft from ground level and 1.5 ft under the ground with 6” coping
