Upgradation of Manufacturing Plant at MPIPL
Efficient manufacturing plants must continually upgrade production facilities in order to meet strict manufacturing guidelines and to produce newly developed product lines.This involves comprehensive planning and continuous partnering with a factory infrastructure, considering this MPIPL taken decision and installed VMC VF-6 & CNC ST-30 from HASS, USA state-of-the-art technology and automation.
With the automated machining center, the company has been able to increase its output while maintaining its existing workforce and taking on more work. Job lot sizes may be lower, but part tolerances are tighter than ever, and machining center change-overs now happen daily which improves resource utilization and provides means for application of lean tools such as 5S, 7- wastes, kanban, Just In Time (JIT), etc.
New Range of Waste water Submersible Pump for Industrial Use
Mody Pumps a leader in engineering and manufacturing of fluid management systems, on 19th July 2018 introduced a new range of waste water submersible Pumps MS4000 Series from 30 – 75 HP with various combination of discharge verses head in Indian Market. Mody Pumps boast of a lightweight and compact design, reduce energy consumption significantly and efficiently address electric overload issues caused due to fluctuating power supply in Indian territory and customers can enjoy a better performance with after sales & service for enhanced reliability.
The Indian waste water treatment market is estimated at Rs 2,500 crore and is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 12 per cent between 2018 and 2023.

OVERVIEW – MAKING DIFFERENCE:
To ensure CSR remains an ongoing activity, MODY PUMPS strongly believes that corporates who benefit from the society must give back to the society, that an organization with the power to affect human lives must use the power wisely.Taking these practices forward, our Managing Director Mr. Nagaraj Uppunda institutionalized the concept of community work is a way of telling the people among whom we operate that We Care.
OUR STRATEGY:
As a responsible corporate entity of India, MODY PUMPS has already completed CSR activities Desilting and Deepening of village tank at- Chon, Tal – Ambernath under the guidance of Tahsildar, Ambernath against Mahatma Gandhi Rashtriya Grameen Rojgar Hami Yojana – Government of Maharashtra. Our vision is to actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities by the way of life for weaker section of society, home for the aged and disabled and raise country’s human development index. As a part of above vision, we identified the following activities to be undertaken as CSR activities under its CRS policy either on its own or indirectly through charitable trust or the association contributing to the society.
IDENTIFICATION MECHANISM OF PROJECT:
Accordingly, we selected CHIRANTHANA CHARITABLE TRUST ( R), home for Geriatric Health Care, IDYA, Surathkal, D.K. 575014. Which has been operative for the last 20 years by running a home for senior citizens. Presently serving 45 aged and disabled along with geriatric care along with serving communities health, education and cultural promotion having remarkable service regarding old people.
PROJECT OPERATIONS:
As a request from managing trustee of CHIRANTHANA CHARITABLE TRUST (R), The projects which are very much useful for the smooth running of their organization, following requirements are needed& implemented.
- CCTV system Covering entire old age home.
- Make shift structure at the roof top to facilitate a store room and living room for the employees.
- Aatra Oven
- EPBX (Intercom system)
- 250 Ltr. Boiler for providing hot water to the residents.

Mody Pump announced that their India and USA Location is ISO 9001:2015 certified effective 3rd January 2018. This was confirmed after the surveillance audit conducted by LRQA on 28th December 2017, an independent certifying authority.
ISO 9001 is an international standard that defines requirements for setting up a Quality Management System (QMS) in any organization.
